Sik is short for 骰仔 [sik zai], which is cantonese for dice.

This side table was designed in the course Furniture Design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Under the supervision of Brian Lee I first designed a handful of innovative joints, which I the further developed into this side table.

Each cube is 43cm x 43cm, indonisian birch plywood.

Its individual peaces come in a flat pack design package and are possible to be manufactured from one single Plywood plate.

Easy to assemble, without any screws.

The side table has a practical storage space under the lid, perfect for things like blankets in the hallway or by the sofa or bed. Made of Solid plywood that creates a natural and warm expression in the room.

Its aluminium joints, make the furniture modular to personalise your living room.
